Competition Reminders:

Arrival/Warm-up: Dancers should be ready at the event 2 hours before their scheduled performance time, or at doors open. Please see below for more specific details for meeting times/warm-up information. PLEASE BE ON TIME!

Awards: All Award Ceremonies are on the schedule and will be held onstage. DANCERS MUST BE IN WBDC ATTIRE on stage at awards and to accept an award.

We love when dancers and their families come early, stay late and cheer on all WBDC dancers! Everyone needs an audience!

Photos/Videos: Taking photos and videos at the competition is not permitted and can cause disqualification. Photos and Videos can be purchased at the competition.  

Livestream: Masquerade does not have a livestream.

Backup Tights/Shoes/Costume Parts: All dancer are responsible for all costumes and extras to be stage ready at all events.

Friends/Family: We love friends and family members coming to cheer on dancers!  Please make sure that they do not come into the dressing room/warm-up areas.  The dressing room/warm-up areas are for dancers and the adult family member assisting with costume changes. Please remember that female dancers entering a female dressing room may only have female adult family members with them and vice versa for male dressing rooms. Alternative options are available at events, but please be mindful of specific designated spaces.

Company Look Guidelines: Dancers can not have colored nail polish or embellishments on fingernails, in the case of dancing barefoot there can not be colored or embellished toenails, tattoos showing (real or temporary), real tattoos must be covered with professional level make-up and not bandages, extra piercings in ears or anywhere else, or any non traditional colored hair showing, etc. There are no exceptions.

Doors open 4:30pm

All junior soloists need to be there at doors opening or two hours ahead of time. Dancers need to check in with Katie/Jenny.

Dancers need to be there at doors opening or two hours ahead of time

Noelle meet Jenny/Katie at 9:00am.

Reese/Millie touch base with Jenny when you arrive, stretch and be fully dressed and ready and meet her when Noelle has completed her solo.

Aria stretch and be fully dressed and ready to warm-up with Katie when Noelle has completed her solo.

Addie/Dakota be fully dressed and ready to warm-up with Jenny when Aria has completed her solo.

Awards 11:45am

The Charity Dance Down for all ages is at 4:25pm. Please confirm with Jenny/Katie if you plan on participating and then they will be there to watch it otherwise they will be back to the facility at 5:00pm.

All soloists age 13-14 Jenny/Katie will be at the facility at 5:00pm and will meet with soloists as they arrive. Please warm-up independently if Jenny/Katie are with other dancers but they will always touch base and assist with warm-up before anyone goes on stage.

Sunday 5/10

Doors open 8:45am

Dancers need to be there at doors opening or two hours ahead of time.

All soloists age 15-16 Jenny/Katie will be at the facility at 8:45am and will meet with soloists as they arrive. Please warm-up independently if Jenny/Katie are with other dancers but they will always touch base and assist with warm-up before anyone goes on stage.

Awards 12:00pm

We will begin Duet/Trio/Small Group warm-ups following awards.

Awards 4:00pm

All soloists age 17-19 Jenny/Katie will be at the facility after the 4:00pm awards. Please warm-up independently if Jenny/Katie are with other dancers but they will always touch base and assist with warm-up before anyone goes on stage.

Dancers in Hard Knock Life, Anything I Do, This Is Me needs to be dressed in full costume during awards and meet Abby/Sofia/Jenny/Katie immediately following awards.

Dancers in Haze that danced in the morning need to be dressed in full costume during awards and meet Ellie/Jenny immediately following awards. Dancers that have not competed in the morning in Haze need to meet Ellie at the start of awards in costume to begin warm-up.

Junior Company needs to meet Abby/Ella D/Ella P/Jenny/Katie/Aaliyah immediately following the awards in tap costume with freeforms and without hats/tap shoes. Dancers will stop at the dressing room to get hats and change shoes before going to stage.

PreTeen Company needs to meet Sofia/Riley/Allie/Jenny/Katie immediately following the awards in tap costume with freeforms and without tap shoes. Dancers will stop at the dressing room to change shoes before going to stage.

Elite Company need to be at the facility two hours ahead of time and meet Gretchen/Aaliyah/Paige after PreTeen Lyrical “Warrior” fully dressed in first costume for warm-up.

Rumour Has It need to be at the facility two hours ahead of time and warm-up together. Jenny will meet you immediately following awards.

Little Girls should meet Madison following Rumour Has It. If a dancer hasn’t competed prior this day they need to be at the facility two hours ahead of time. Teen Company dancer will warm-up Little Girls quickly and then move over to complete Teen Company warm-up.

Teen Company should be at the facility two hours ahead of time and meet Katie/Jenny after Rumour Has It in full tap costume in freeforms and no hoops or sunglasses. Dancers will stop at the dressing room to change shoes and get hoops/sunglasses before going to stage. Teen dancers in Hip Hop Company 2 need to warm-up Turn It Up together before beginning Teen Company dances.

Hip Hop Company 2 not in Teen Company should be there two hours ahead of time and meet Sofia/Abby following Teen Company Jazz Sweet Dreams.

Ways To Be Wicked need to be there two hours ahead of time and meet Jenny after Avery/Kyla’s duet Girl Party in full costume.

I Feel A Sin, Clocks, Worse, A Night To Remember, Taylor, The Grudge and Reason to Hate You need to be there two hours ahead of time or following the previous awards if the small group is later even if more than two hours. We share dancers between all of these groups. Dancer need to be in costume if performing earlier for warm-up or else dance clothes and change after warm-up if later. We need to meet at the start to be sure everyone is ready due to tight schedule.

Mini Company needs to be at the facility two hours ahead of time and meet Gretchen/Gretta/Macie/Millie in Superheros in ballet shoes after Reason To Hate You Small Group dances. Dancers will be able to go to the dressing room to put on tap shoes before going to stage.

Intermediate Company needs to be at the facility two hours ahead of time and meet Aaliyah/Kaitlyn/Reese in Cruisin for a Bruisin in freeforms after Reason To Hate You Small Group dances. Dancers will be able to go to the dressing room to put on tap shoes before going to stage.

Hip Hop Company 1 needs to be at the facility two hours ahead of time and meet Paige after Senior Company MT Freak Flag.

Petite Company needs to be at the facility two hours ahead of time and meet Carolyn/Addison/Ella L in Surfs Up in freeforms after the previous awards. Dancers will be able to go to the dressing room to put on tap shoes before going to stage. Kaitlyn will replace Addison for Petite Jazz and Lyrical so Addison be part of Hip Hop Company 3.

Senior Company needs to be at the facility two hours ahead of time and warm-up together. Be sure to check in with Jenny. Remember to warm-up Hip Hip Company 3.

Hip Hop Company 3 needs to be at the facility two hours ahead of time if not in senior company. Teen Company dancers to check in with Paige and warm-up together after Petite Tap Surf’s Up.

Production needs to meet Gretchen after Intermediate Company Jazz Get Your Sparkle On. As Hip Hop Company 3, Senior Company and Petite Company finish their final dances they should immediately join Production.
