Production 2025 “One Big Party”
We feel like the name says it all, we are going to create ONE BIG PARTY on stage! Celebrating awesome music and different genres of dance this piece will have lots of energy, a sophisticated setting and tons of surprises! Will we always only have one party theme going on the whole time? Multiple party themes? What will the themes be? How do we make a party prop? Be part of the creation and see!
As did, “On The Catwalk”, “Cats”, “Hero”, “Queen”, “Under The WBDCea” and all the previous productions, it will have a fantastic music mix, special costumes, lots of dance styles in the choreography and a lot of creativity!
Company dancers (Sorry Mini Company, just a bit too young!) are welcome to sign-up. See your invitation email for pricing details. Rehearsals will be on Saturdays from 9:45am-10:45pm. Production will compete at all 4 regionals, nationals and will perform in most recitals. January 19, 2025 is the mandatory production rehearsal and will be located at Lakeaires Elementary School in White Bear Lake.
2024-25 season begins the week of 9/8/24!
January 19th is the mandatory production rehearsal at Lakeaires Elementary. Dancers should arrive at 12:30pm. Rehearsal will end at 6:45pm with an informal family showing. Families will not be able to enter the performance area until 6:30pm. Dancers need to be in good fitting dance clothes, hair tied back, freeforms (and other types of shoes if in sections of different genres of dance), a water bottle (or 2) and a snack. Dancers will all break at different times.
Production Dress Code:
Leotard (any style/color), bra tops, dance shorts, dance leggings, tights (any color) and hair tied back off of neck and pinned off of face. Barefoot and Capezio Caramel or Black Freeforms.
Please remember that extra jewelry (bracelets, necklaces and long earrings) and smart watches are not allowed in class.
Competitions:
Production will compete at 4 regionals and 1 Nationals. We will not know the exact schedule until the week before the competitions.
Masquerade March 21st-23rd at the Ames Center Burnsville, MN.
Celebration Talent Competition April 11th-13th at the DECC in Duluth, MN.
Leap Competition May 2nd-4th at Roy Wilkins Auditorium St. Paul, MN.
Bravo Dance & Talent Competition May 16th-18th at Shakopee High School PAC.
Celebration Nationals Competition June 24th-29th at the DECC in Duluth, MN.
*Optional Second Nationals* Bravo Best In The Midwest Summer Bash July 7th-July 13th at the Stephens Auditorium in Ames, IA.
