4 Week Sessions

WBDC will be running 3 Sessions of 4 Week Recreational classes. Session 1 is in June, Session 2 is in July and Session 3 is in August. Dancers are welcome to take one, two or all three sessions.

Tippy Toes Summer

• Dancers will learn the beginning steps of how to take a dance class!

• Focusing on taking turns, sharing and listening to directions

• Welcoming environment with use of props and music geared towards our youngest group of dancers!

• One adult family member will start in the room with their dancer. Adult family member will transition out of the room once dancers are confident and comfortable.

Ages 18 months-2.9 years

Ballet 3/4 Summer

• Dancers will learn the basics of ballet

• Welcoming environment, encouraging ballet posture, positions and technique

• Extra special things including coloring sheets, matching activities, dance games and more

Tap-Jazz 3/4 Summer

• Dancers will learn the basics of Tap and Jazz. (Plus ballet basics, because it is the foundation of everything!)

• High energy, fun environment promoting fundamentals of dance technique and class socialization

• Extra special things including coloring sheets, matching activities, dance games and more

Wednesday 5:30-6:15pm $60/session VH

Hip Hop 3/4 Summer

• Dancers will learn the basics of Hip Hop

• High energy class, promoting confidence and learning the fundamentals of Hip Hop.

• Extra special things including coloring sheets, matching activities, dance games and more

Dance Summer Camps!

All camps are for ages 3-12 and are $38 per day. They will run from 9:00am-12:00pm at WBDC-WBL. There is something for everyone in these fun filled one day camps which will be filled with dance, crafts, snacks and creative activities!

We have some of our most popular 2024 Summer Camps back with all new activities for a new season, as well as, LOTS of new themes!

This is a 6 week class designed to help dancers learn a wonderful stretching routine that they can continue on at home to advance in their flexibility goals.

Acro Extravaganza

This is always one of WBDC’s most popular summer programs. For the 2025 Summer season there are 2 Acro Extravaganzas, July 15th-July 17th and August 19th-August 21st! Dancers are welcome to take one or both.

It is time for all things acro! Lots of flexibility and strength exercises combined with working on everyone’s favorite acro skills. The 3 night camp will give dancers time to really work on a skill(s) that they have been trying to accomplish. All levels of dancers welcome. Contact WBDC if you are unsure which level/age group to attend.

Acro A Beginner Ages 5-18 5:00-5:45pm $47/session (New to WBDC or current WBDC students in Acro 1) WBL

Acro B Intermediate Ages 6-18 5:45-7:00pm $78/session (Current WBDC students in Acro 2 or Acro 3) WBL

Acro C Intermediate/Advanced Ages 6-18 7:00-8:15pm $78/session (Current WBDC students in Acro 4) WBL

Conditioning/Trick Power Pack-4 Week Session

Conditioning and Turn/Leap “Trick” Technique are the focus of this 4 Week Power Pack Session. We recommend these classes for any dancer, but it is strongly recommended for all Level 1 and Level 2 Company dancers.

Power Pack Group A: Monday 5:15-6:15pm August 4th-August 25th Ages 5-12 or current Mini, Intermediate & Petite Company dancers 4 classes/$70 WBL

Power Pack Group B: Monday 6:15-7:45pm August 4th-August 25th Ages 9-18 or current Elite, Junior & PreTeen Company dancers 4 classes/$100 WBL

Power Pack Group C: Monday 6:15-7:45pm August 4th-August 25th Ages 9-18 or current Teen & Senior Company dancers 4 classes/$100 WBL

Power Pack A is a beginner/intermediate level class, Power Pack B is an intermediate/advanced class and Power Pack C is an advanced only level class.

Workshop Classes

All levels of dancers welcome.  Come try out different genres of dance. 

Ages 5-8 5:00-6:00pm $12/class Ages 9-12 6:00-7:30pm $17/class. Ages 13-18 7:30-9:00pm $17/class

Dancers auditioning for Level 2 Company 2025-26 get 4 Workshop Classes (one must be ballet) in the Company Audition Pricing. Please register for your class choices and the tuition charges will be adjusted on your account. Dancers are welcome (and encouraged) to take more than 4 and will be charged individually.

Cancellation Policy: Due to the popularity of these classes, they will close at capacity. Please register early to ensure the date(s) and genres that your dancer(s) prefer! These classes can be dropped up to 7 days prior to the class. If it is within 7 days of the class, class enrollment can not be canceled. Drop-in registration is welcome if space is available.

Level 1 Company - MinI, Intermediate, Elite and Hip Hop

Mini (age 4-6), Intermediate Company (age 7-9), Elite Company (age 10 and up) and Hip Hop Company (age 7 and up) are low commitment competitive companies that allow dancers and families a chance to experience what competitive dance is all about!

There is no audition for Level 1 Companies, but all dancers must have at least 1 year of dance experience-WBDC or other other program.

WBDC does recommend Mini, Intermediate, Elite or Hip Hop Company dancers to participate in a WBDC Summer Dance Class. Check out our Workshop Classes, 4 Week Sessions and/or Acro Extravaganza Programs.

8/12/25: Email will be sent to those dancers registered in a Level 1 Company with detailed information regarding the 2025/26 season. Email will be delivered/sent by 5:00pm.

Level 2 COmpany Audition Program

Dancers of all ages will be auditioned in ballet, modern, tap, lyrical/contemporary, jazz, hip hop, musical theater and acro over the course of the program. The pricing below includes all class dates plus the required 4 workshop classes. Dancers can opt to add additional workshop classes during online registration. Dancers are also encouraged to register for any or all Acro Extravaganzas, Conditioning/Trick Power Pack Summer Classes and Flexibility Classes.

If you are a current student and not sure which audition group to attend or you are new to WBDC, please contact us to assist you in choosing the right group for your dancer.

All groups will be observed by faculty through the entire audition program and dancers will audition individually during various times August 4th-6th. List of specific skills/technique/audition guidelines will be available here late spring 2025. **Watch for a helpful rehearsal video June 2025 (will be uploaded to dancer’s DSP/WBDC accounts who are registered for Audition Intensive) for additional tips, hints and a guide to all skills/technique.

Company invitations, dancer package information and the 2025/26 season schedule will be emailed to families on 8/12 by 5:00pm. Company Registration will be online 8/13-8/15.

Dancers interested in doing additional pieces for the 2025-26 season, meaning solos, duets, trios, and extra groups should email info@whitebeardancecenter.com by July 21st, 2025 if you are currently a WBDC dancer or as soon as your online registration is complete if you are new to WBDC.

Dancers must be in good fitting dance clothes (pink tights and black leotard are NOT required), hair cleanly pulled away from face, ballet shoes, taps shoes, freeforms, clean tennis shoes, bare feet, lunch/snacks, and a water bottle are needed.

All current WBDC dancers, deadline to sign up for 2025-26 Level 2 Company Audition program is May 15th, 2025.

Pre-Pointe 2025

Current 2024/25 Company dancers eligible for pre-pointe will be invited with their Summer Class recommendations, which will be in your DSP’s notes section by the end of March 2024. If you are new to WBDC, don’t receive a recommendation or have general questions, please email Jenny.

Pre-Pointe 6 Class Summer Program $50

7/21, 7/22, 7/23, 7/24, 7/24 and 8/4 4:00-4:30pm WBL

**Dancers need to be in bare feet for this summer class. Dancers will be evaluated over the summer pre-pointe class and those invited to move on to Pointe 1 for the 2025-26 season will have this information, including how to & where to purchase pointe shoes and sewing instructions in their invitation email on 8/12 by 5:00pm. Dancers will receive practice guide and exact evaluation information the first class of pre-pointe.

Pointe 1, 2 & 3 2025

Pointe 1, 2 and 3 dancers from the 2024/25 season are encouraged to take summer pointe classes if they plan on continuing in the pointe program for the 2025-26 season.

Improv Classes for Nationals 2025

Any current 2024-25 dancers, ages 8 and up, that may want to consider entering the Nationals Improv Competition should participate in these Improv classes.
